Baumer hhs continues to pursue packaging made with less plastic. https://www.baumerhhs.com/about-us/sustainability-and-environment Featured in Booth C5603 will be our BioMelter which can dispense a plastic-free water-based hot melt adhesive capable of creating plastic free folding cartons for use in end of line packaging. This new melter dispenses adhesive at half the temperature of traditional hot melts using less energy. The all electric tesla hot melt applicator require no compressed air nor the plastic air lines used to transport it. Additional to that, Baumer hhs will feature a pallet stabilization solution which eliminates the need for environmentally unfriendly shrink wrap by using a small amount of hot melt adhesive applied to each box instead keeping the stack boxes secure.
