Space Saving Equipment for Slider Application 
In partnership with equipment manufacturers for in-line applications and premade pouches, the Fresh-Lock team has developed machines to make the application of reclosability more accessible.

Recently, the Fresh-Lock team completed updates on the SR-T100 to help simplify maintenance and save energy use. Additionally, the Elevate Slider Platform is now available for packagers wanting slider application with reduced complexity at a low capital investment. Running at up to 100 bpm, the Elevate Platform mounts vertically to your existing pouch line to optimize space and save energy—making it a sustainable, space saving option.

A New Solution for Child-Resistant Flexible Packaging 
Driven by the expanding range of products that require child-resistant features, the adoption of child-resistance in the flexible packaging space is on the rise. Flexible packaging offers the advantage of helping reduce packaging waste through rightsizing while also enabling brands to align on sustainability initiatives. The Fresh-Lock team is working on an exciting innovation in child-resistant closures. This next generation Child-Guard® slider is being designed to enhance the user experience, featuring a lower mass material with superior performance. During development, the Fresh-Lock team is focused on manufacturing a mono-material format for recyclability and reducing the overall footprint of the closures.
