Sustainable Solution Description
Due to the nature of the material, most conveyor belting cannot be recycled. That is why we find it extremely necessary to find alternative avenues of reducing our environmental impact. Reducing the quantity of belts we produce is key to this. We continuously evaluate our customers' belting and processes to identify points of improvement, to increase both performance and life of the belt. The longer the belts last, the fewer that are produced, and the fewer that end up in the landfill- a win-win! In addition, we reuse belts for various applications, with the most recent being repairing playground equipment at a local park.
