The Matrix MVC-300, will be shown with a Yamato scale measuring and depositing candy to be packaged into a formed pillow bag @ 140 bpm.

Our Mercury with a Spee-Dee cup filler packaging hard candies. The packaged candy will be deposited into a formed box and sealed for shipping.

Matrix Works with Customer to Achieve Their Sustainability Goals Matrix has always worked proactively to make sure our machines are green; they have always had smaller footprints, resulting in space-saving on the facility floor, and a short film track to reduce film waste. Matrix machines also run “green” films that are sustainable, such as compostable or recyclable, as well as a variety of other film types. All of our machines have easy changeover and use less film—hence wasting less film during the changeover, while our Matrix MVC-300 VFFS machine, not only has a smaller footprint, but also utilizes AutoPro™ programming technology. This technology aids in reducing film & time waste by decreasing changeovers by up to 50%. Matrix AutoPro seeks to reduce this change over time by using servo mechanisms to makes these critical adjustments, thus freeing up the operator to do the other needed tasks for changeover. The positions of the various adjustments are saved in the product recipe. All an operator needs to do is replace the forming tube with the new one and load the correct film. Each critical mechanical adjustment is then automatically returned to the position from the last time that job was saved. This system allows for much faster change-over with greatly reduced scrap as a further benefit.
