IMA aims at minimising its environmental impact in the manufacturing industry by offering sustainable solutions that fall under the project IMA ZERO. This program is divided into 4 main categories: - LOW (Low-Impact Program) with the goal of decreasing emissions, waste, water and energy consumption; - NOP (No-Plastic Program), aiming at minimising plastic use in packaging; - E-MOB (Sustainable Mobility Program) that fosters eco-friendly mobility; - YOU (Human-Centric Program) that promotes well-being inside and outside the Company, putting people at the centre of any activity. A pillar of the NOP category is IMA OPENLab, the Group’s network of technological laboratories and testing areas, dedicated to the research on sustainable materials, technologies and production optimisation processes.
